today had a so called fun prac!
clinical optom 1, slit lamp!
13 hours allocated, and today was a start...so what do we do?
had demos etc for the first hour++, after which, hands on to the slit lamp...
it was really cool....to see the eye at like 10x magnification! see the lid margin etc...lift upper and lower eyelid, den hmm, the "fun" come in for today...evert upper eyelid. in simple terms, flip eyelid!
before today, i will get disgusted when i see people flip their own eyelid...but now, i think i wasn't that disgusting afterall...
i was a difficult one coz my lids are a bit tight, and poor szeyin had to try so many times! so demoralising for her! aww...
it was quite fun though, coz we are learning new things!
i hope i can faster learn it well, and not be a blur headed examiner...hopefully...
after the prac, went tuition, and that kid was really hyper!, i get so tired after teaching her...what a 6 year old kiddo...
then went to pass hilary her birthday present which i owed her for like almost 3months?
tmr is gonna be a super long day from 8 to 5...
why cant our fri be a short and sweet one?
anyway, sun gonna watch harry potter and the half-blood prince! hopefully can get tickets...ya know...hmm
that will be after the eye screening in the morning...helping residents to test their eyes? yup hope it's gonna be a pleasant day for all of us girls!
and one more thing, my parents allowed me to go for the cip in laos! i'm sort of happy? but really hope i can go...
gosh i got lots of hopes, but dunno if they turn out good!
